What to expect:

You will receive the expert status "SemiConductor Automotive Functional Safety Professional (SC-AFSP)" if you have successfully passed the 1-hour examination after completing the training module. The prerequisite for admission to the examination is participation in the preparatory training modules or, alternatively, proof of equivalent training.
The SC-AFSP certification is valid for 5 years. The SC-AFSP status can be extended for a further 5 years by successfully completing an online multiple choice test.
For the expert status "SemiConductor Automotive Functional Safety Expert (SC-AFSE)" you must prove that you have been working in this field for at least 5 years. To obtain this expert status, you must apply to the SGS-TÜV Saar Examination Board, document your experience in functional safety and successfully pass a qualification audit.
The SC-AFSE certification is valid for 5 years. The SC-AFSE qualification can only be extended by providing proof of activity.
