SpaEfV: Benefit from tax advantages via peak equalization

In Germany, ISO 50001 is a prerequisite for the reimbursement of the EEG surcharge in accordance with §41 EEG.

In addition, the peak equalization according to § 10 StromStG is linked to the introduction of an energy management system according to ISO 50001 or an environmental management system according to EMAS from 2013. For small and medium-sized enterprises (MSEs), the performance of independent energy audits in accordance with DIN EN 16427-1 or the verifiable introduction of an alternative system in accordance with Annex 2 of the Peak Equalization Efficiency System Ordinance (SpaEfV), which came into force on 6 August 2013, is sufficient.

SGS-TÜV Saar is the right contact for all the alternatives outlined.
