If the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) is binding for you as an operator or plant manufacturer, you know that no tank, no pipe and no (pressurized) piece of equipment with a safety function and the following elements may remain untested - starting with the manufacture of a pressure system to commissioning and ongoing operation.
Not to forget: the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health. It obliges you in your role as operator to carry out periodic inspections. You are only permitted to use your pressure system until the next inspection date. This inspection allows you to make sure and prove to others that your pressure system is safe to use.
Whether gas cartridges, piping systems for water, chemicals or gas, industrial fittings or tanks with a wide variety of volumes: only equipment that has been tested in accordance with European Directives such as PED may be operated.
As an approved inspection body (ZÜS) and notified body (NoBo) by the EU, we have the necessary knowledge to test your systems. Our employees in and around Kaiserslautern, Speyer and Sulzbach are your experienced partners for all test scenarios. We guide you through the entire conformity assessment process - from the design phase to the final declaration of conformity. In addition, we also perform statutory inspections of your pressure equipment during the use phase.
Do you export your products to customers abroad? Or do you have other reasons that oblige you to comply with other international directives in addition to the PED? No problem: we are also on safe ground outside Europe and are therefore able to provide you with solid advice and carry out inspections.
In addition to the PED, the following guidelines are part of our "tools":
As experts in implementing the Pressure Equipment Directive, we are also well-equipped to handle your welding staff qualification, QA audits, and other regulatory audits.
