As an Industrial Functional Safety Professional or Expert, you can demonstrate your expertise according to internationally recognized standards such as IEC 61508 and other relevant regulations. This demonstrates your commitment to ensuring safety in automated processes and systems.
What you can expect:
You will receive the expert status "IFSP" (Industrial Functional Safety Professional) if you have successfully passed the examination after completing the training module. The prerequisite for admission to the examination is participation in the preparatory training modules or, alternatively, proof of equivalent training.
The IFSP certification is valid for 5 years. By attending an update workshop, you can extend the qualification by 5 years if you pass the multiple-choice test following the workshop.
For the expert status "IFSE" (Industrial Functional Safety Expert) you must prove that you have been working in this field for at least 5 years. To obtain this expert status, you must apply to the SGS-TÜV Saar Examination Board, document your experience in functional safety and successfully pass a qualification audit.
IFSE certification is valid for 5 years. By attending an update workshop, you can extend the qualification by 5 years if you pass the multiple-choice test following the workshop.
