The more complex the technology, the more functional safety experts are needed in the industrial and agricultural & forestry sectors. But the question arises: Who is an expert in functional safety? ISO 25119 does not provide an answer to this. On the one hand, they require that only experts assess or manage functional safety; on the other hand, they do not specify the conditions under which someone may be considered an expert.
As an accredited service provider, SGS-TÜV Saar now offers you the opportunity to provide people with the specialist knowledge for functional safety and thus qualify them. With this qualification, you as an individual can justify or even increase your market value. As a company, you have the opportunity to have your employees independently qualified and to secure their specialist knowledge in the long term.
We qualify you or your employees to work with functional safety. To this end, we have developed a two-stage qualification program from SGS-TÜV Saar. After successful completion of the qualification, the SGS-TÜV Saar seal confirms in a certificate that the graduate is a professional for functional safety.
You will receive the expert status "AGFSP" (Agricultural and forestry machines Functional Safety Professional) if you have successfully passed the examination after completing the training module. The prerequisite for admission to the examination is participation in the preparatory training module or, alternatively, equivalent proof of training or project experience in functional safety technology.
The qualification (AGFSP) is valid for 5 years. By attending an update workshop, you can extend the qualification by 5 years if you pass the multiple-choice test following the workshop.
