Functional safety automotive - Safety-oriented hardware development according to ISO 26262-5

ISO 26262 offers a new approach to the assessment of hardware. This module shows the possibilities with their advantages and disadvantages. In practical exercises, the required verification methods for safety are presented and deepened.

Training contents of the K5 module

• Interfaces to system and software development
• Specification of the safety requirements for the hardware
• Calculation of error metrics using the example from modules K3 and K4 with practical exercises
• Necessary test measures
