Process Industry Functional Safety Professional

As an accredited service provider, SGS-TÜV Saar offers you the opportunity to provide people with the specialist knowledge for functional safety and thus qualify them as PIFSPs. With this qualification, you as an individual can justify or even increase your market value. As a company, you have the opportunity to have your employees independently qualified and to secure their specialist knowledge in the long term.

We qualify you or your employees to work with functional safety. To this end, we have developed a two-stage qualification program from SGS-TÜV Saar. After successful completion of the qualification, the SGS-TÜV Saar seal confirms in a certificate that the graduate is a professional for functional safety in the process industry.

The course lasts 2 days plus 1/2 day examination.

Prerequisites

You will receive the expert status "PIFSP" (Process Industry Functional Safety Professional) if you have successfully passed the examination after completing the training module P1. The prerequisite for admission to the examination is participation in the preparatory training module P1 or, alternatively, equivalent proof of training or project experience in functional safety technology.

Validity

The qualification (PIFSP) is valid for five years. You can extend the qualification by five years by successfully completing an online multiple choice test.
