CACSP-Update: plus 5 years

A CACSP qualification obtained for the first time is valid for 5 years. To obtain an extension of the qualification for a further 5 years, the following steps are required:

• You apply for the extension using the application form and send us proof of your activities in the cyber security environment in connection with the application of ISO/SAE 21434. This includes projects, as well as further training measures, attending conferences and writing specialist articles. It should be clear from this letter that you have been working in the field of cyber security for the last 5 years and have undergone continuous further training.
• You can take the CACSP update exam at the earliest six months before the CACSP certificate expires or six months after the CACSP certificate expires.
• After your application, which is also your order for us, has been checked, you will receive an access code to take part in an online multiple choice test. You have 60 minutes to complete the test and can repeat it once within 24 hours if you fail the first time.
• After successfully passing the test, you will receive a new CACSP certificate from us by post, which is valid for 5 years.
  The certificate will be extended by 5 years from the original validity date.
