Stability right from the start:
Services in construction engineering

The quality of our tests also meets the highest standards in construction engineering.

Flying structures such as fairground rides, tents, stages, grandstands or steel structures of various dimensions such as chimneys, shelves or ladders, slides, diving towers - and even  in facilities such as swimming pools:

As the person responsible, you need to have the potential hazards under control.
We can help you.

Flying buildings:
On the safe side with every assembly and dismantling.

No need to explain that temporary buildings are designed differently from stationary structures. This is because while stationary structures can also draw their stability from material-to-material connections (concreting), flying structures often require modular, lightweight constructions.

The challenge: temporary structures such as roller coasters, Ferris wheels and other rides, marquees, grandstands, concert stages or towers must meet the same high safety standards again after dismantling and reassembly.

Depending on the type of construction, these installations require a construction permit in accordance with the state building regulations. This is issued by the responsible building authorities (place of residence of the operator). As a basis, initial tests, expert opinions, tests to extend the construction permit and special tests must be carried out on these systems.

This is where SGS-TÜV Saar becomes active as a recognized inspection body for temporary structures.

Structures, electrics and mechanics - we leave nothing untested

As an inspection body for temporary structures, we know and understand the current normative guidelines and regulations. With us, you as the owner or operator of temporary structures are always on the legally secure side.

Is the structure solid enough that wind or snow masses will not impair its stability? Has the structure been designed and built in accordance with all fire safety regulations? How is the issue of escape routes implemented in a legally compliant manner when erecting temporary structures? We deal with these and many other issues - in accordance with the guidelines for the construction and operation of temporary buildings.

Our primary goal is to support the operators of temporary structures and to certify conformity with the structural requirements and conditions through the inspections prescribed by building regulations.
